Bon Marché Gas operates in a highly competitive market where the core product—gas—is largely undifferentiated. The project focused on creating a distinctive brand identity that enhances visibility, builds recognition, and clearly separates the brand from competitors through strong visual differentiation. 

 

In an industry where functional benefits are similar across providers, Bon Marché Gas needed a brand identity that could cut through visual clutter and create instant recognition. The challenge was to move beyond product parity and use design as a strategic tool for differentiation. 

The brand design is centred around a powerful and dynamic word mark that visually expresses energy and movement. The letter “G” is integrated with an energy icon, forming a bold and abstract visual element that symbolises power, momentum, and reliability.

 

Bon Marché’s vibrant colour palette plays a key role in the identity, with a colourful gradient used to evoke the feeling of energy building and flowing. This approach reinforces the brand’s energetic positioning while enhancing visibility across both physical and digital applications.
